This is an easy 5 star. I live in an old house (don't we all?) in Sugarhouse and have a very old AC unit and a very old heater. I thought for sure we would need to replace them given the noises it was making. No only did Josh (the guy I worked with) squeeze us in on a very quick turnaround, he got all the parts cleaned and installed, and actually was able to repair them both and it is running as good as new. He also came in under what he initially told us, which frankly I have never once had a repair person do, and was in and out in about 45 minutes ("There's not a big labor charge because I just don't think it'll be that much work." was what he said). Without a doubt the best HVAC guy I've had in here (and lord knows I've had a lot) and will be the only one i use going forward. Highly recommended. If nothing else just talk to the guy. He'll give you an honest answer, no fluff. The part that caught me was "No, you probably don't need a new one. Despite it's age this things in great shape. It just needs a few tune ups and replacements and you'll get many more miles out of it" (I'm paraphrasing) but this guy's the real deal, super honest, and does good work. It's about all you'd want in an HVAC guy.
